    I've been carrying this long enough now that it feels like it's always been part of the kit. The construction is solid — not performatively sturdy, just genuinely well-made. It does exactly one thing extremely well and then does several other things competently. It made a problem I'd normalized feel completely unnecessary.

    I used to pack around the limitation. Now I don't have the limitation. It's light enough that I forget it's there but functional enough that I'd notice its absence. I've compared this directly against two other options. This one isn't close. The investment paid for itself on the first trip.
