Bags

Soft bags for short trips and second bags for long ones. Trolley sleeves, separate shoe compartments and cabin-friendly dimensions, in the same colors as our luggage.

Weekender or duffel

A weekender bag is structured, opens flat and keeps clothing folded, which makes it the better choice for two or three nights where you want to arrive unwrinkled. A duffel is softer and packs down when empty, so it works as the second bag you bring for the trip home or fold into a check-in on the way out.

Both of ours slide over a carry-on handle on a trolley sleeve, so the pair moves as one piece through an airport. The Fold-n-Go Duffel and Trolley collapse flat for storage between trips.

Using a weekender as your personal item

Most airlines allow one cabin bag plus one personal item that fits under the seat. A weekender at the smaller end of the range qualifies, which effectively adds a third of your packing capacity for free on top of a carry-on.

Pack what you need in flight in the outer pocket and keep the main compartment for clothing, so you are not opening the whole bag in a narrow aisle.

FAQs

Usually it counts as your personal item and fits under the seat, though on some airlines it can serve as the cabin bag itself. Check the dimensions against your carrier's limits.

Two to four days of clothing for most travelers, more with packing cubes.

Yes. Both the Weekender and the Fold-n-Go Duffel have a trolley sleeve that slides over a carry-on or check-in handle.
